Should I buy my crush flowers?

There is this girl I have a crush on that works in the same mall as me. She comes to my store often and always seem to connect pretty well with her. I'm deciding to ask her out but instead of just plainly doing it would it be a good idea to send her flowers anonymously then when she comes to my store to get some food ask her if she liked her flowers. Then her reply will hopefully be "that was you? How sweet!". Then I would tell her that I'd like to get to know her better and would like to know if she'd be interested in going out sometime. Is this a good idea or am I just over- complicating it?
