Define the relationship talk

I have been dating a girl for a little over three months. I mentioned to her after a night of drinking that I was not dating anyone else and would like to be exclusive. She said she wasn't dating anyone else and she agreed with being exclusive. The next day she did not remember much about the night because she was drunk. She didn't recall the exclusive dating talk we had and said it probably should have been brought up when we were drunk. I agreed with her assessment and said we could talk about it at a later date. How should approach the exclusive dating talk the next time?

stone cold sober...why use alcohol to ask a person to be an exclusive a when they can't remember? If you need courage to ask and discuss the issue of exclusive dating then you're probably asking the wrong person.
