My boyfriend's family is so rude

hi everyone reading this I am new and I am pretty much at a fork in the road if you know what I mean. anyway I've been with my boyfriend/fiancé since September of 2010 and we have had our ups and downs and now I just need some advice I'm desperate now for any form of help. just so you see things from my side I am a mixed girl (black/white) and my boyfriend is white my family has somewhat accepted him and I just think his family hates me ill explain when we first started dating all was well then I met his family face to face and his cousin who is about 18 19 and his gf they have 2 adorable kids and she is black and he's told me time and time again that his family is racist towards blacks mostly but I would think I was in the wrong. so I'm 22 and I don't have my DL reason being when I was in high school my mother and grandmother only wanted me to focus on my schooling and that messed my life because I ve never worked a day in my life and I can drive legally (but im an awesome driver) well he's been through the normal teenage life then and now he recently renewed his DL and now hes looking for a job and car so we can move out. now up until now his family has never interfered in our relationship and whatever they say to him he says what they said to me and im a very soft hearted girl and if I hear anything bad I take it to heart and I cry and he knows this about me and I would think hes sticking up for me but to me it feels like he isn't what they have said so far first his mother said I need to stop being a P***Y and get my DL after he told me I literally felt my heart drop into my stomach and of course I cryed then yesterday his grandmother said "y don't you get a new gf that has a car so you can have sex in it...and again my heart is already breaking and I just feel like they don't like me but yet his sister who is 19 doesn't have her DL nor does his cousins gf doesn't have her DL. and my family has never said anything so rude to me about him and his cousin goes through hell with his gf but im the nice one I never say anything mean or rude I was raised to be respectable of everyone and the bad thing is they all have potty mouths and they curse like sailors..now im at a breaking point and Im lost of what to do now anyone reading this please help me I don't know what to do now I ve been up 2 weeks without sleep I think I suffer insomnia now and I don't need this stress id really appreciate it sooo much :).

How can someone with a sensative heart deal with those kind of things without taking every little thing to heart?
