Do I move??

My prob is my ex of 5 years…no kids.. spilt up year ago. We live in a small town. We split cause she be forever harpin at me bout this and that. drove me crazy. dropped everything for her, lot of friends.family. She well put together but drank like a fish. Anyway, she’s with some other dude now but everytime she sees me usually at a tavern, she rubs it in, grabs him and says now this is a real man and crap like that. Then she tells anyone who’ll lissen our hassles. This other dude stands there smirkin…big motha..he’s welcome. I left cause of her drinking but left her with everthing..just took a bag of clothes.. hell.. I couldn’t give a damn what she did afta but she’s startin to rub me the wrong way….im gonna hafta leave town if this keeps up….I just settled again with some new friends…what you guys think..

Well CC, you have a choice here I guess, stay and continue to be hassled or move out of town...or totally ignore her. You've painted her to be a 'real catch' and other people can put up with her and her childish behavior. One thing, if you show her that her behavior is affecting you, she'll keep it up but if you refuse to acknowledge her, she'll eventually stop. She's surrounding herself with people now who 'give her the power' and react to her behavior. Whether you have to leave town to 'ignore' her is up to you....personally, I wouldn't give her the satisfaction.
