Brothers

This is very difficult for me I was with my ex for 17 yrs about 2 yrs ago I had breakdown something I m not proud of I has lost my confidence my ex kept telling me that I shouldn't put myself down all the the and start doing more for myself and not for less for others he always said I was a good kind person he's been gone about 7 weeks and since then I have found out he is in a relationship with his brothers ex wife my ex is there uncle we were very close knit family but now it been ripped apart my ex parents r very angry with him his mum refuses to talk to him this might sound like I am been nasty I am not I am trying to tell it how it is she is not a very nice person she cheated on her ex and every time we got together as a family she would tell any one who would listen that she got with the wrong brother which was very hurtfully to have to hear her talking about my ex like that friends that know us say she is doing it to prove a point to my ex brother and once she get board she'll throw him in the gutter my father in law says that my ex is not happy and he'll come back with his tail between his legs yes I still love him he always said that she was an attention seeking and selfish so why has he done what he's done so confused and hurt

Dear Ruby, I understand you are very much still in love with your ex but your ex did not think about hurting his brother, his own parents and nor you by indulging in such a relationship. Leave out the part about what he used to think of her. The fact is he doesn't care of how much hurt you all are and that speaks of his character. As for why she speaks so, it might be just to raise her image in society that she chose the wrong person and now she has realised her mistake etc. Just ignore it. If you wait for your ex to realise his mistake after a long time (which may or may not happen), you would be just hurting yourself with the wait. Try to get over him and move on.
