Hes playing mind games, or is he just really friendly?

So me and this guy have talked everyday for a while now and we went driving around yesterday. He has told me about his previous relationships and has discussed personal stuff like that with me. We have discussed a lot of things but when I told him that no one knows we talk he said that was good and we should keep it that way because he didnt want people to assume we had a thing or to start any rumors. This really confused me. Was he just trying to see how I would react to try and find out if I like him or is he hinting that he doesnt wanna be more than friends. All his actions are impossible to figure him out. His friends are harassing him about this other girl and telling him to bring her to a concert they are going to but he just gets irritated with them when they talk about it and says he doesnt wanna take her ( I heard this from one of his friends that knows I like him). Your opinions pleeeaaaseeee.

Blonde, realistically, if he was a real friend to you, he wouldn't care what other people say or think. And if you really like him, tell him straight, but make sure you know who/what you're getting involved with because he doesn't know how to manage his affairs because everyone (his friends) seems to be telling him how to. Instead of him 'standing tall' and knowing what he wants, he's trying to fly under everyone's radar...including yours. Your confusion is coming from his indecisiveness and obviously, his immaturity.
