Thankyou for who replied....I have taken it all on board...but you need to know more...My hubby has been addicted to weed for over 20 years,..4years ago he was diagnosed with bipolar he is on medication he still smokes weed. has 3 coffees and 3 cigarettes for breakfast. he is seeing his doctor about his health and is on blood thinners, we have all been through a lot, and it took a lot just to get him to go and seek help, now he has been told if he just lost 20 odd kilos it would help a lot. but he sleeps on the couch wakes up in the middle goes to the fridge eats, he is like a big teenager, at those times. We aren't sleeping in the same room as the bed isn't big enough and he snores very loud, it is so hard to not remember all the problem we have been through and I myself am trying to loose weight. he won't come on walks.. I am trying to see him as not my problem. I try to make healthy meals and he eats again after. my son is now worried about it all, as he is old enough to know. We are stuck in a rut. exhausted, drained, and i don't know anymore.

I am so so sorry for you.... I sympathize hugely with your situation. I lived a with a man who was the same, my 20's gone!!!! He needs to stop getting weed.....I believe that amount of smoking has contributed to his mental health problems today for certain a permanent change in brain chemistry..... How are you? This environment will take its toll on you massively if you do not seek professional help. for you. I am sorry to say but your hubby is gone. I think you are starting to reach out for yourself now and that is very positive. I do not know how you are coping .... but you are a fighter. I think your husband needs to be removed and spend sometime in hospital for his addiction to weed........ he needs detoxing and then he needs therapy that is a heavy heavy addiction. Your son.... how is he coping? I would go and talk to someone for support for you and how you are going to go forward in this.

He will need a rehab! What you can do is may be discuss cases of people whose health got affected drastically coz of weed...I think your doc can help you on this one.
