Relationship break down break up

My ex boyfriend decided to break up with me due to us just not getting on constant up and down arguing and not talking, we have tried a few times but the same things keep occurring. my flaws are what bothered him most about me I did and have tried but it was too late. I love him and want him back we were together for 4 years. he said I should stop trying because there is too much water under the bridge. he seems to be moving on he goes out hangs with friends. I cant move on though im always crying and don't know what to do. I have to see him because we have a son together which makes it 10 times harder

yeah he was a good dad. since the split anytime I ask him for something for his son hes there. he text me that hes still here for me if I need company, any problems or financial help. he was a real good guy and great dad which is rare to find I wouldn't say I took him for granted I just feel like I never thought we would end. I miss and love him so much I don't want to bombard his phone with texts but I really do miss us being together I dunno what to do
