Best friend trying to get with my ex

I went out with a man and I did things to him I truly regret like sexually and we broke up like 2 weeks ago and I still love him and all but he did try to get with a different friend but it didnt work out so now I feel he's trying to get wit my best friend cause today he asked for a hug and I was talking to her about the hug and all and I told her I cant be around when shes with him cause it'd be awkward and she said they're not going out just friends but i know she likes him i know shes never really liked me and like I want to go out with him but he doesn't want anything to do with me so what do I do? Please help
