Out of my league?

I'm 17 and quite 'techy', I'm the head sound technician at school and that's where I spend most of my time, although everyone says I don't fit the stereotype at all. We had a play on at school and I was on microphones, so I was backstage with the actors the whole time (who are all 'popular'). There was one guy in the year above who was really nice, and extremely good looking. He invited me to the after party and we spent the whole thing together, chatting and having a laugh. I had to leave after an hour because I was getting a lift with my friend, and my friend doesn't like staying up late', which pissed me off. But this guy gave me a kiss on the cheek and a hug and said 'miss you already'. Then today and yesterday he ignored me completely when I tried to make eye contact. What do I do?

He could be a little nervous around you... So approach him! Let him know that you're still interested in hanging out, ask for his number, ask him to a retarded movie that only 9 year olds would watch so that it isn't awkward, be ambitious and outgoing!
