Honest advice needed on my man dilemma

Recently I've met an awesome guy who makes me laugh, goes out of his way to make me comfortable, gets sexually nervous if I casually look directly in his eyes (not in a creepy way). All sounds perfect but problem 1. He's younger problem 2. I think I may be the curvaceous woman he's gotten to know and 3. I need to get some help. We get along so well but I haven't dated men in years and have forgotten so much. I need advice on how to ensure I'm not delusional and he's keen too, I appreciate honesty. What are the signs of if a guy is possibly scared to go there with you? The sexual tension is as real as it gets. We also do the whole vague talk from both of us in what we look for in a future partner and all signs point to him being interested. I'm an old fashioned gal and I am too shy to make a move. He spends all of his spare time with me and he always ensures he keeps me smiling. I have become overweight, I hold it well according to those around me and don't have problems with lack of interest, the chest helps. I'm just so nervous that he is not taking it further due to not being a slim lass but I need help to know how I can tell if he's interested. I'm never this interested and am so scared of overstepping a boundary so need some professionals as I don't talk to my friends about these things, I'm confident but not with being vulnerable to ask for help.
