Buy the card or him

My husband bought me a card ages ago with words on it saying why he loves me. I gave him it back when we argued as i was really angry and he scrunched it all up. I said he will have to get a new one back but he still hasnt. Should I buy a new one since I gave him it back? If I hadnt he wouldn't of touched it or is it up to him to get it

You gave it to him. It was his to scrunch up if he wanted to. I wouldn't buy you another one just so you could toss if back at me when you are pissed off.
