Would it be weird if I attempted to reset my relationship with a woman?

I went on a date with a woman, but because I was weird and awkward I left her with a poor impression. However, she has agreed to another date, but she didn't seem as happy as the first time. What I want to do is ask her if we can treat the upcoming date as our first one. I'll say it's because I was not happy with how I was last week, and I want to prove to her that I am capable of being more of a man. I feel more confident and feel I can impress her more. But I want to make sure she goes out with me with a fresh opinion of me. Would this be weird?

She must have been at least a little impressed by you to agree to go on a second date. Even though you may be dwelling on how yu acted on the first date, I wouldn 't mention it a whole lot to her. If you show her exactly how awesome you really are, she may forget almost all of the first date. When you first meet up on the second date, you could briefly apologize with something like, "Hey, sorry about last time we met. I was just having an off day. Now enough talk about that....." or something. I don't think what you want to do is weird. Hope everything goes well!
