Im new to these types of forums and things, but looking for places to meet new people and gain new perspectives on my problems. I'm wondering what people here think of this place, and how it compares to other places like Agonyapp which is easier for me because its an app on my phone. Or how it compares to other website forums?

There's quite a mix of perspectives here. Usually on the forums, such as this one right now, you won't get a huge amount of responses, mostly. Sometimes you could get 3/4. Sometimes 1. I think it's dependent on how much people can relate to a given situation to provide their perspective. Also surprisingly huge walls of text don't scare off that many people it seems. Those with huge walls of text, do good, if not better than regular posts. The amount of detail of perspectives vary also. A few users give a very basic perspective and don't go into much detail. It's kinda hard to get in touch with them to follow up an given perspective too, since this forum doesn't seem to notify you if any new posts have been posted on your current forum either, from what I can tell. Usually the first flood of perspectives are usually lacking in breadth and depth. With the later ones being reasonably detailed. Every now and then you'll get an extensive opinion. The chatroom is usually fairly nice. It has its utter dead moments, but it also has it's brimming with life moments too. Sometimes the chat also dies completely, this isn't often but isn't dependent on this site, but the kiwi client itself. There it's easier to follow up on perspectives. However, be careful as people tend to jump the gun a lot. Meaning they give advice based on their limited understanding or knowledge of the situation. Since they usually don't question parts they don't understand or pieces of information they need to support their opinion. Generally however the perspectives are nice. You do get the odd toxic user, if you do email the admin of the site or consult a moderator who may be in the chat. All in all, it's a nice small community of people. It's very come and go. So you'll get quite a bit of perspectives over a long duration of time with many new people, coming in and out.
