Am I paranoid or is it intuition

so started seeing this guy in February, his ex of three years ago is still visiting him and texting quite frequently as in first thing in the morning and at lunchtimes etc. he said they where just friends, but for friends I see a lot of texts on his records all different times of days. They where supposed to break contact in april which could be true as I can see a phone call. Previous to all this if she was just a friend her boyfriend of nearly three years had no idea that she visited him, and my boyfriend always deleted her texts and nobody elses. Well to the present day so to speak. My boyfriend went into a random conversation completely out of know where in which I recorded and it went something like this. Animal instinct is animal instinct, doesn't matter that you don't love or respect that woman, that woman this that woman that, that woman could be provocative but if your a clever man you would know that she is using basics and you would walk away. You cant stop animal urges in the first place etc, and to top it all off and I quote "you cant help randomly bumping into someone who you find" and changed the conversation. well I can tell you that alarms went off because he has mentioned before and I quote "that woman is no good for no man, I have no respect for her" so the word "respect" is a red flag for me. I have a friend who knows her and told me loads she has ben married three times etc etc. Then one day before all this happened he asked me if I had seen my friend recently (haven't told him her name) I said no, to which he said and I quote "nothing really happened" to which I questioned what do you mean by this and he replied "it was all innocent" another thing that happened and I don't know if it coincidence, I passed her and she was on her mobile, and then I rang his personal mobile which has a bad signal where he works, so then I rang his works mobile which guess what was engaged. I then done a stupid thing which is totally out of character for me I went up to her and had a blazing row whilst she was talking to someone and I slapped her across the face, andher phone went flying out of her hand. I know I should of done it but I just saw red. After talking to her later she said that she had to up too her apartment to retrieve his phone number (yeah right) through the security door, then flights of stairs to her place to get his number. this took her two minutes, I don't think so. According to her, her boyfriend knew that they text, but not the visits because my boyfriend told me this at the beginning of our relationship. Not that I am proud by a long shot for what I did, but she didn't call the police, which I find strange. My boyfriend and I have had loads of slanging matches etc, he cannot even give me a straight answer to anything I ask, don't know what to do ?

sorry forgot to add, that according to his friend that my boyfriend and the ex have always been intouch, which makes me think that they speak to and from his works mobile. also he said to his firend "if it was offered on a plate you would take it"

if you settle for less then you deserve, you'll get even less then you settled for! why settle for shit you cant deal with?find your self worth!its ok to be strong willed,life aint always fair and it always nice.turn the tables on her let him loose, cut the strings, be HER text him on your terms,c what she does.never show em it hurts.sneak around with him he must get some kind of cheap thrill outta that shit,if hes worth your time!
