So, my ex and I broke up about a year ago and we have recently started talking again after seeing each other at a cricket game. he talked about asking me out on a date and stuff. now he asked met to be his date at his grandfather's birth day party. I like him and we can talk about anything. I have dated another guy in the mean time but am single now. I need advice on whether to go or not.

I agree. The reason why you broke up is important. If it was a little misunderstanding or a mistake, then it shouldn't be so hard to forgive him and you would probably be able to start all over again and fix the past. However, if the reason was something major like he was kissing another girl whilst you were dating, then I doubt he's the right guy for you. Good luck!

if u broke up bsc of cheating or controlling u or physical abuse but if u broke up with him bcz of small things then u can date him again but ask him if thers any girl that his seeing or dating then if his alone then ithink u should go for it why not
