My parter split up with me, we got back together and now he is being distant

Me and my partner of just over a year recently went through a rough patch and he ended our relationship. He asked for some space which I gave him to think things over. My Partner decided that he wanted to give our relatonship another go but he is very distant with me and will not cuddle me,kiss me, hold my hand, go out anywhere with me and Im really concerned. When I spoke to him about this he told me that he felt weird/akward around me, when I asked if there was a reason he said he didnt know why he felt that way but that it was his problem to deal with. Things have become reall strained and I honestly dont know if he wants to be with me anymore. He still tells me he loves me and he wants our relationship to work but his actions say something completely different, am I just being paranoid or am I trying to save something that cant be saved??
