Long story short.. I'm a 22 year old guy and I met a girl of the same age off Tinder. I know right? It's usually a hook up kind of app, but we hit it off straight away. We spoke for a while before meeting, and there was no awkwardness whatsoever. This will sound cliche but it felt like we had known each other for years. She lives an hour away which is still pretty easy travel wise, but we stick to seeing each other on the weekends only. Anyway, it's only been a month since we've been 'official,' and it has been great.. we've been rather intimate at times and are able to be really honest and upfront with each other which I really like. It's just about a week ago I dropped her home and she almost said "I love you." She stopped herself though and got very embarrassed.. I was shocked but happy, it's just she sort of dismissed it and I didn't say it back (even though it's how I feel). It might seem too early to some of you I know. I'm just not sure what to make of the situation because she hasn't been the same since. Like, her texts have been shorter and she's been less responsive if I say anything cute in my messages. It sounds petty but it's a big difference. We have seen each other since and everything was like normal but we weren't with each other for long and I chickened out mentioning it. I was hoping someone could give me advice if they've been in a similar situation. Have I messed up a little because I didn't say it back? I'm just terribly insecure and there are ridiculous things going around my head!

Look girls never wanna be the first to say it anyways. My advice don't take those 3 words lightly. If u really like or even love her then u need to make a memory out of saying it. Be cute about..put itself out there.

If you're too verbally shy at this point, say it with actions. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. :-)
