18 and still carry a teddy

I'm 18 years old and I still carry a teddy around with me. To me it's totally normal and I'm ok with the stares and the questions why. But that's the problem I don't know why I do it, I would love an explanation of maybe why other 18 year olds or older do it so that maybe I can figure out what my problem is. Maybe then my parents will understand.

Maybe you just do it for comfort, and it is your parents who maybe should have weaned you off carrying a teddy around all the time at a younger age - don't blame yourself for who you are - we all have our own obsessions, but probably not as visible as an adult with a teddy.
