We chat almost always every night. He's my classmate. He knows that I like him.

In the beginning, he would always start the convo. He would usually ask something about school or org activities. Later on, he began to ask random and obvious questions and eventually our convo goes on until its time for bed. We dont have any particular topic always, he'd just usually tease me about my hobbies etc. Of course I would fight back and tease him as well.

I never talk to him or socialize with him in school unless he's the first one to approach me. But usually I would just reply briefly and the conversation stops there. I was just always too shy because our friends might tease us. And i keep getting conscoius around him.

Until now, he would still always start a convo with me thru chat. We almost always chat every night but we seldom talk in school. And lately in school, he would catch my attention but whenever i look back at him he would just laugh. I really wanted to talk more. Then sometimes, the following morning after our night chats, we would just pass by each other at school. I really wanted to approach him but Im feeling shy about it. During the Christmas break, we still had chats. And on the first day of school after the break, he smiled at me after seeing me arrive in school. I inadvertently smiled back. Im positive we looked directly at each other and exchanged smiles. It was a brief moment bcs I was walking towards my friends and he was sitting in the corridor.

I also learned that he was ignoring my friend, who also likes him (and she's not being secretive about it), and he didnt greet her on her birthday. But during my birthday, which was last the Christmas break, he greeted me, :)))) I cant help but feel happy about it even tho my friend was lonely. Im the worst.

These night chats had been going on for i think 2 months already. BUT WE STILL SELDOM TALK IN SCHOOL. He would sometimes come near me but he doesnt talk. Its like were strangers in school. When he starts to actually talk to me personally, I would just screw it up with some one-word sentences. I know somethings wrong with me but hes just too hnnggghhh.. >////< Does he like me?? Do I have a chance?

Im all for the whole confidence boost you had better nail this guy approach thing but i just went through something incredibly similar and if all you want is sex from this guy i say go for it but i couldn't tell you whether or not itd last.
