Help me!!

I have a new boyfriend that i just only met in online dating. He's from Chicago and I'm from Philippines. He's 29 and I'm 19yrs old. He's about to visit me here in the Philippines in May 2015. I'm really worried about what my parents would say about our age gap, they didn't know that i have a boyfriend, we never meet in person and i used online dating that i met him there. So my question are how am i supposed to say about these to my parents? I never introduced a man to my parents so i dont know what would be look like if they already meet each other. Im so scared and i have no idea to handle this. My boyfriend really wants to meet my family bcos he's really serious about us, our relationship. I love him and i want to meet my parents too. I just want to have some advice from you. I hope you could help me on my situation.

okay so your first mistake was never telling them you had a boyfriend. But now what's done is done. Do not try to tell them everything at once. You can try and tell them you met someone through a dating website first. Maybe you could approach them and say something like I want to tell yo about this guy because he makes me happy. See what they have to say about the deal with online dating and the guy first. If at the time they're handling the situation well then you can tell them about the age gap. Assure them that it's fine by telling them how he wants to do the "right thing" and meet your parents. Your parents will appreciate the fact that he wants to meet them. Perhaps you could say something along the lines "he really cares about me and he's serious about us so he wants to get your approval". Or maybe you could tell them that their opinion really matters so they'll feel like you want them to know not like you were hiding it from them.
