Why is he so distant?

I have been dating this guy for 7 years. Today for Valentines Day I bought him a balloon and a box of chocolates with a card. when I gave them to him he didn't even say thank you or give me a hug or a kiss. I was very hurt and cried for a long time. I am still teary eyed at this moment. He then came in later and said thank you, but I don't think he really meant it. He said he didn't know that he had hurt my feelings, but that he didn't care about holidays and they don't mean anything to him. He has done several things to hurt my feelings and turns it around on me to make me look like the one who is causing all the problems in our relationship. I just don't know what to do anymore.

I feel as he isn't paying as much attention to you. Im sure he still loves you, but he's just not appreciating you being around anymore. I speak from experience as things change, how you act around one another as time passes.
