Ex boyfriend cut me off after finding out I moved on

me and my ex boyfriend was friends until he found out i was talking to someone else, i told him that i still want him in my life but he cut me off and told me to go talk to dude, We was cool everything was fine until he found out and then he cut me off, like why is he acting like this????????

Well simply put, he is your ex boyfriend. I'm sure it hurts him to see/hear you talking to other guys. I mean, if you have that other guy to talk to, why should he be there? What is he there for then? He feels like you're not interested in him anymore, since you have those other guys to fill his spot, and he's not needed anymore. So he left you, since others seem to have taken his place.

Agree. Albeit it depends on who the 'dude' is, of course, plus where you spoke, about what, for how long, etc., and whether you deep-down KNEW it would cause him to feel threatened, jealous, under-appreciated, out-foxed and thwarted (if it was your one-up-manship style revenge for something similar he'd done), disrespected, etc.? You mean, his finding out led to an argument wherein he said, 'That's it, we're over!'? If that was the scenario, I wouldn't automatically assume it IS over because everyone says things they don't mean in the heat of the moment. But let's see... Define 'cut me off'. Blocked your phone number; won't take your calls; unfriended you on Facebook? More details, please.
