Girlfriend is working and finding life difficult

My relationship with my girlfriend of 1 year, of which has majorly consisted of long distance as she studies in a different country to me, is now in a work placement abroad, in my country (about three hours on the train away), and finding coping with her new lifestyle difficult. The problems are: - Her landlord is very constrictive - Her work (as a human resources administrator) is very menial and taxing - Her community town is very small and there's not much to do I've talked with her and reminded her about her holiday coming up soon which should cheer her up. If there's anything you can say from your point of view that will cheer her up please tell me! I'm going to arrange a small box of gifts for her so any tips for this would be great also. Thanks for taking the time to read this, any help you can give me would be an amazing contribution. Thanks again.

You are the best present in the world. Is she coming home forever soon? Small gifts? What does she like? She would love anything from you but give her things she has laughed over or loves. The cliches are candy, perfume and jewelry.

Hi! I am guessing the best gift for her would be a spa treatment. Like a body massage. She would love ur thoughtfulness. For all the stress shes been thru... she will appreciate u for this. And after that u can go out for a dinner or drink maybe. There are couple spa treatments also u know... where both of u can have a massage at the same time. with a glass of wine. Hope it helps. Good luck!

Thanks to both of you I managed to put together a parcel of cookies and fudge, I'm seeing her in 2 weeks and meeting her family, I'm going to write her a card and maybe record a song on a memory stick for her. Thank you for all of your suggestion it really helps motivate myself. :) Thanks again, Somemos
