Hey, I have posted about this in the past, but I finally want to sort it out completely. I need some advice on how to ignore and stop thinking about someone, who doesn't reciprocate my feelings. She is a long time friend, but I'm begining to stress myself out over it more and I can tell she is losing interest in our friendship aswell. I think the best solution would be for me to unfortunately put our once close friendship behind us and move on. Anybody able to help me with how I can do this? I am weak when it comes to her, although I am not like this with anyone else, I stand my ground against anyone, family, bosses, friends. But I crumble with her, it's pathetic. I don't want to give in this time even though I will really miss her but this can't go on. I've cancelled meeting up with her the last few times, so that's a start. :')

Hello there... I am in almost the same predicament. I am weak when it comes to my ex boyfriend whom I live with. He moved on easily but won't let me. He won't give me up. I am so lost. But I am starting to think that people in our situations just need to end all contact and do our best to forget about them, even if its hard and painful.

I actually have that same problem that Jasi has. I live with my ex due to the ridiculous cost of living where I am and we have children together. Things have been getting better, though if I were able to cut off all contact with him it would be easier. Bradley, you're definitely not doing yourself any favors by sticking around or hanging about her if she is not even interested in the friendship. You're doing the right thing by cancelling meetups since you suffer. I know all too well the weakness and the crumbling. Hang in there and it will get better once you've been apart for a while.
