Need some good advice

I have an adopted mother, I find it very difficult to talk to . We have never had a normal relationship growing up as a teen. Any time I talk to her it's like she's would always be so extra and add things just to see my reaction or response I can never be myself, especially when I know she's not been her true self. I know she doesn't accept me as her daughter it's all a pretence. It so difficult. If I approach her with these situation, she will deny it all and say I'm imagining things. Which get us none where.
How do you know she wouldn't have been like this even if you HAD come out of her womb?
Define not normal. Define 'so extra'. Describe why you think her acceptance of you as her daughter is all pretense? Or have you just done that with your final sentance, i.e. she tries to head your emotional problems and dilemmas off at the pass by dismissing or greatly minimising them?
Does she say things remotely like, 'Oh, weeeell, that's life for you' or 'Ohh, it'll all come out in the wash' or 'Why are you making such a big deal out of this?'?
Hi Palm1,
Is there some reason why you're starting multiple thread posts for essentially the same problems?
