Ditched by a friend

I began Chatting to a single Woman through Facebook and for a period of three weeks we chatted constantly and seemed to be getting along well. On the third week she posted a few comments that seemed a bit relationship like, They seemed like they would be aimed at a person of love interest but didn't seem to me that they would be aimed at me. This Women used to send me picks of herself and talk to me about what she was doing and I genuinely began to like her (but I felt cautious). Just before Valentines day she kept dropping hints about being fee on the weekend and free for Valentines Day. Eventually that weekend come around and our conversation slowly turned to how about meeting up for a Movie and Dinner. We met at the Cinema and it immediately started bad. I was very nervous and shy and found it hard to talk and make Eye contact. I was also probably Shorter and Fatter than she might have imagined, which added to my lack of confidence. She on the other hand was also less attractive than her pictured had indicated. In short, we watched a Movie together and after that she quickly made a poor excuse and ditched me. I messaged her later to say I was home safe and she answered politely. We haven't communicated since. This all happened a week ago and I fought off the idea to message her or just delete her. I'm trying to learn from this and make it into another life lesson. Wish I could start over with her but I cant. I wish I knew the truth but I don't think I could ever get it. What do People think I should do>

Yep, put it down to one of life's many lessons. Realise that you will eventually find the right woman, regardless of looks and regardless of how you meet. In the meantime, get on with your life and leave it up to her to contact or message you.

Well you talked for three weeks, made a date, and there just wasnt chemistry. It is a little down heartening but it happens to everyone who is dating. Sometimes you can get along with a person but have no attraction to them. (See friend zone ha ha) So dust yourself off, and get back out there. :)
