Settled for neglect

I've been with my spouse on-n-on for 28 years. We have a sort of addiction to each other with no apparent benefits. He wont get a real job, our low Income rent is $25 and he can't pay it on time. He leaves for hours at a time daily and nightly. He's taken over MY van and MY cell phone. He gives me gifts then pawns them. We rarely are together. I'm mostly at home alone. We argue and fight a lot. He wont sit at home cuz its boring but he sits at other peoples houses often. He frequently says he'll do things then NEVER follows thru. He lives and acts like I owe him something. I've always done all the surviving and he dies not. He can name 5 reasons he loves me and I can't.

Honey, he is taking advantage of you. Using you as an excuse to do nothing with his life. Seek help. He doesn't love you. I'm sorry to say that, but it's truth. You deserve better in life! It sounds like you have a brain, and I'm sure you have goals and dreams; you will never achieve them if you stay in this rotten corpse of a relationship. You are a strong woman! Leave his sorry a$$ before it's too late.
