???Need advice please????

Need some advice, I've been living with my boyfriend for 8 months he slept in the bed with me in the bed a total of about 5 nights all together since we been living here. He sleeps on the couch. I ask why and so far I got a few different answers and other times he tells me "its too early, too late, or Im tired to talk about this" I have never had to deal with this in my past relationships the only time is when we were mad at each other. But with my boyfriend that isn't the case in fact he wants me to sleep on the other couch and one time he thought because I went to sleep in our bed he felt like I was mad at him and I was mean. ????? Im super confused,I wonder if this happens to other people????? I understand if we were mad at each other

To me that seems super strange. I think that maybe he just needs his space or maybe you guys aren't as close as you used to be or weren't meant to be. Your boyfriend might also just be lazy and would rather sleep on the couch then the bed. This hasn't happened to me because all my boyfriend wants me to do is sleep with him in bed never on the couch.
