Confused by this guys behavior

Met this guy online - we met a few times but never started a relationship. I deleted him from all my social media because I was heartbroken after he TOTALLY ignored me on there for 2 years - I mean NO interaction with me on Facebook, didn't like a single photo of me or status or comment. He never acknowledged any comments I left on his photots etc..6 MONTHS AFTER I HAD DELETED HIM he text me on my old mobile (i changed my number) but i ignored it. He has just come back into my life after 4 years of no contact through Facebook messenger and he spoke to me for 1 hour, then stopped....now he has not bothered starting a conversation with me on chat for months- even though I'm online everyday.....why come back, re add me just to TOTALLY ignore me again?? THIS WAS THE REASON I DELETED HIM! we are both still single. Should I question his motives as to the text and re adding me....or delete him without a word again? I was hoping after 4 years away we could maybe start fresh but I feel that heartbreak slowly creeping back in again - I'm confused!

Delete him and ignore him. If he wanted to talk to you he would. Period. End of story. As to why all of a sudden he messaged you, maybe he was bored, maybe he was drunk, maybe he is actually In a relationship and they were on the outs. Who knows? Point is he hasn't talked to you in so long and that's what matters. You matter more and deserve more then pinning over some stupid guy you went a couple dates with. Love yourself, and guard your heart perhaps a little more. A couple dates leading to nothing should not break your heart. And if he isn't commenting on your Facebook posts DO NOT continue to comment on his for 6 months. One thing I have learned about men, do not go out of your way to repeatedly communicate with them to let them know you are interested. If they were into you you would know it, and they would be communicating with you all the time. Thats what you wait for, not so called guy who ignores you:)
