Cousin trying to put me down

My cousin who comes our home regularly seems inspired and somewhat jealous by my confident personality.I do a lot of adventures and she often wants to do that too .She says to her husband as well that i want to do these things.(But she cant) .Now the problem is that she often says to me you are "too much confident" like sometimes in sense of praising actually trying to put me down or even her praise has a touch of jealousy. Today when she said the same to me infronta my sis ,i ignored but rejected her politely " No everybody said I was looking the prettiest in the party". But my mind was again and again buzing me that why didnt i stop her when she tried to put me down this time, so Later i texted hr on watsap that "When u say me confident then say mashAllah (religious word) as well otherwise it looks as if you are getting jealous:-)".She said ok.then we exchanged love you. Do u think my whatsap masg will be affective on her? Wat more should i do?

No i m not proud.But she says it too often .everybody has a patience level.how much ignore. :-(
