Divorced man with kids looking for emotional break

I am looking for perspective, my guy of 1 year has told me that he loves me and I'm a great person but that he has a lot of stress in life from work, kids and ex wife. And that me asking for more connection is stressing him out. I may not have asked in the best way but his response was that we would forward to make things better. Then he ghosted me after saying he just needed a bit of time. After asking directly about his expectations over this time eg how long he diverted the conversion and refuses to answer. I've responded by not texting or calling. It has been over three days and this is way over the amount time that we've ever done this for. Aside from me looking after me how do I move forward with contact with this person?

I am in exactly same situation as you are. I am having a hard time as well but I gave him the space that he needs. How are you doing now by the way? Did he get back to you?
