How to make the best out of living in Florida?

Hi, I'm 16 years old and I just moved to Florida. All I've heard is how awful it is, how the education is bad, how the people are bad, etc. How can I make the best out of staying here if it's as terrible as everyone says?

If you just moved there,take some time to get to know the place Florida is beautifull and few of my friends that finished school moved there, all the way from croatia just for education Dont woory too much... you will be just fine :-D
