Accept and move on

I love her dearly. Recently she cheated on me with another guy who even wanted a child from her. I did not ask her but she knew that I know what she was doing. She later discoverd that the guy is a player. She came clean to me . I love her and I had based all my future hopes (well, not all) on her. With this betrayal out of the closet, should I forgive her and carry on as if nothing happened?

Forgiving is the easy part. Forgetting is the issue and it will take time...lots of it. Carrying on would depend on well you know this woman...are you married?...or just dating? Is cheating in her character?
