Friend group trouble

I am at my college and have met a wonderful bunch of friends in my class and we have our lunch and dinner together. In that group dre is a guy whom i just like...basically i m impressed by his personality and i think he also just likes me because of the way i handle myself. That's just it. But he has a ling time girlfriend and he sometimes acts very wiers like ignoring what i am saying or by doing such things that create a great kind of pain in my chest. He is committed and is very lind hearted an i dont want to put him through trauma because he loves that gal. I am thinking of changing my group and shift but my girlfriends always pull me along to have dinner with them. That creates some emotional standoffs that could be avoided. What should i do ?? Help guyz plz...,

Hi ..thank for your response .. Actually sweets its very easy for anyone to say just leave them ..go away ..bear the pain .. But I know it's too difficult ..n for you I feel that he is just taking you as a friend .. That's it .. So u should also take him as a friend .. Don't try to avoid your friends because of one guy ..actually u really don't want to loose all of your friends for a guy ..who don't even love you and he is already in a committed relationship ..just control your emotions ..when they are around ..you for sometime you have to bear the pain ..I know it's very tough ..almost like impossible ..but heart matters are always painful ..so don't worry ..just divert your mind ..and enjoy .if I have said something wrong then pls don't mind it and do let me know about it .. And ya about my problem ..I know I can leave ..but May be I don't have that much guts to face life .. Let's c ..finger crossed ..I know it's a phase and it shall too pass .
