After 2 months I am finally taking the initiative and going to my get my stuff from my ex. He has been saying he would send it for months and never did. It's a all day across country drive and he has offered for me to stay at his house to save $1000+ in hotel costs which I don't have anyway. We havent talked about the separation there was no big fight or anything. I'm really nervous because I want to work it out but he did mention I had my own room/bed there while I stay. Do you think he is just being courteous and I should bring up the separation or should I just forget about closure or trying to rekindle our relationship.

Sounds like you guys need to talk more before this happens. Why are you even going to pick up your things, if you want to rekindle the relationship? And he is offering to let you stay at his place? Sounds like he is hoping for a farewell booth call at the least.

Hi Fruitydrink60: There is a lot we do not know about this relationship. Perhaps you can give us more information. How long have you been together? What caused the separation? Is your "stuff" worth $1000? What motivated the co-habitation? Do you trust this person? Do you love this person? Of course there are more questions, but that is a start. As with most of my responses to this forum, I would ask you to look at all your options and consequences of each option and then pick the one that is best for you. You can make this choice better than us. I would love to help, but I need more information. Thanks for sharing and I hope we hear from you.
