Advise on part-time or full-time work

I'm rebuilding my life from ground zero - finances, the whole 9 yards. My clock is ticking on some things I've been confused about and repressed for a long time. One being, I want to move and go live somewhere I want to live. I want to save what I need to move and go as soon as possible, with a little cushion in the bank account. With the above criteria I don't want to hold myself down any longer unnecessarily. I don't want to stay where I'm at another whole year. Bad idea or good idea, I want to leave in 6 months. With that thinking, I've conditioned myself to think that a full-time job would do exactly that. That it's a more invested type of job. They'll expect me to stay a while. I'll have to wait for earned vacation time to leave or visit my new locale to look for jobs and apartments. Also I'll admit there's a little anxiousness over me becoming stuck here. Ultimately I feel that it's constrictive. I've been thinking that a part-time job is more ideal for my purposes, because it would allow me the flexibility to travel and visit my new locale, to look for jobs, have time for interviews. And also, it feels "disposable" for lack of a better teem. I use it for what I need it for, give my two weeks and go. Am I right? Or wrong? And why if I'm wrong. For some reason I've been confused about this and would like some feedback. Thank you.

Hi Rabbitos! Apologies for the delay, btw (more posters than respondents). "I've been thinking that a part-time job is more ideal for my purposes, because it would allow me the flexibility to travel and visit my new locale, to look for jobs, have time for interviews. You can choose jobs that last 3 days (to cover for sick staff) or 2 weeks or whatever, on a wage that's equal to OR HIGHER than a full-time job, and then take days off in between (or weeks if you wanted; you'd just discuss your needs with the agency and they'd do the rest, including your tax). Do you have any Temping agencies in your area? (What country are you in?) Why the dilemma? The part-time route is just logical and far more practical, isn't it? Are you having trouble making decisions? And, if you don't mind my asking - why are you having to start over, and how old are you?
