Too far for relationship

Default profile image
I recently (18 months ago) moved across the country from my home after graduating college. I moved for work purposes, and a great experience to have after completing my education. The problem is, besides many friends and family members still back home, there is also a woman for whom I have very strong feelings. I've had a crush on her from the time we met (6 months before I moved), and I had told her of this, to which she said the same, but the move was already planed and the job accepted. We have stayed in touch, and I have seen her each time that I visit (every 6 months), the most recent being this past week. Each time that I see her, it just reassures my thoughts from before, and I really want to see where we could go together. However, I am not okay with a 3000 mile long distance relationship, and would be giving up my career path if I moved back to the east coast. I am really just trying to make sense of the thoughts running through my head at this point. Normally I would not even give these feelings a second thought, but I know that she is special. Just looking for any opinions that could help at all. Thanks
