Relationship advice... sort of?

So, there's this guy i really like. He told me he likes me..but then the next day he asked out another girl. One minute he says he likes me and then he changes his mind and goes back to liking the other girl (even though she rejected him.) This has happened probably about 5 times. He said he likes me and that i'm cute but then he says that he likes the other girl. I'm just really confused as to what his motives are? I feel like I'm his backup plan and like he's playing me. I still like him a lot though and when he's being nice, he makes me really happy. If he asked me out today i would say yes in one second...but i'm just wondering if it's worth it to like him or if i should move on from him or not. I keep forgiving him for playing me but all my friends think he's bad for me and i should move on. What do you think?

if you are looking for a serious boyfriend move on. but if you are looking for a fun time with no strings tied and to be his girlfriend just for the meantime and enjoy playing the field than he will just be one of many boyfriends but just for a good time and not a serious boyfriend. maybe in 50 years times he will become serious and settle down but for now he is sowing his oats and playing the field and having a good time. but if you are someone serious and looking for a serious boyfriend material and someone to settle down with than hes the type to leave you with a baby. and end up being a single mother and pushing the pram and changing the diapers while he is on the hunt for another girlfriend. this guy is not serious about you but having a good time. you know to get over a broken heart play the field and have lots of boyfriends to choose from. and think about what you want in a boyfriend. a husband etc. and why you would want to marry in the first place before you rush down the alsie. you sound young so i think let your hair down and have some fun. enjoy the boys and date alot of boys before you choose a boyfriend. go on dating groups and meet alot of guys and have lots and lots of boyfriends. and enjoy dating.
