My popular crush

well... i had a crush on a senior who was popular in our college.. we became friends in facebook.. we used to talk day and night.. he knows that i liked him a lot.. we spoke anything and everything... but he only seemed to be friendly... i dont know whether i sounded too clingy... he suddenly blocked me in the facebook.. i dont really know the exact reason... but soon he unblocked me but i did not add me as his friend... i did not want to disturb him any more so i stopped contacting him.. later after some months.. he came in the newspapers.. and i texted him to his mobile congratulating him.. as i texted him from a new number he asked me who i was.. after i told who i was.. he started talking normally with me without any grudge.. but now we talk some times but he answers only if i send him the first message.. so what do u think? is he playing hard to get or whether he doesnt like me? what shall i do next to know?

Assuming he's like me, it does't sound like he's interested at all. Many times, I'll start talking to a girl and begin to like her. But as things begin to unfold, I'll find myself realizing that it's not going to be a really successful relationship or anything more than a friendship (the dreaded friend zone). I'd drop it off a little softer than he did, but it seems like after he blocked you he felt it was the wrong thing to do and kinda went back on his reaction. Along with the requirement of you initiating the conversation, I'm assuming he just sees you as any other acquaintance. Sorry. But things aren't always meant to be. Don't worry about it, it's just another bump in the road. Besides, it seems like you picked a successful, nice guy, so hopefully the future drops off some more like that.
