Single women over winter

I am a student at Southampton Solent University studying Magazine Journalism. I am currently working on my final major project, writing a series of articles for Essentials magazine. One of the pieces I am hoping to write is about the pressure many women feel to be in relationships over the winter months. I want to write a positive article about how being single doesn't have to be a negative thing and how women can embrace it. To do this, I need a case study and interview. What do you want to know?

Firstly, I would just like to thank you for your very quick response to my post. I essentially just want to speak to someone who became single - whether that be a break-up, divorce or whatever - just before the winter months. I would like to know how they felt about the thought of spending winter as a single woman, potentially for the first time in a long while. I would then like to know how they coped throughout winter and over Christmas particularly, if it was how they thought would be etc. If you think you can help me I can write a list of proper questions so it is perhaps a bit easier for you?
