Starting a relationship

Hi, I am a 20 year old girl. I have never kissed a boy and I have never been in a serious relationship. There is this guy that I work with that seems really nice. He is a 22 year old manager of the front store and I work in the pharmacy. We don't really talk to each other and I would like to get to know him. We have each other's phone numbers, but the problem is I don't know what to say to him. I don't want to start anything if he doesn't like me because it might get awkward at work. Any suggestions?

First things first. If you plan to keep working there you can't get involved with another employee, epically a Mgr. (Fraternization policy). If your just part time and it don't really matter, start sending texts, like "hey i'm so bored, what are you doing?" see where it goes. If he does not have a girlfriend already, subtly, let him know you are single and compliment his hair, eyes, skin, clothes, etc., just don't pour it on too heavy... little bite size nuggets. And suggest things to do if he don't...it's a damn shame but some guys are so shy these days...they ain't got no balls, till they are sure you are interested.
