Love of my life moved away. Don't know how to handle it

I knew her for 2 years now. At first it was an amazing friendship. You know, hanging out, just having fun. But then it got more serious, I soon fell in love with her. She moved away 3 weeks ago. We haven't talked much since. I have thought about her every single day though. Two days ago, she texted me saying that she was in love with me. I really miss her and want her to come back, but she won't. I'm having a really tough time trying to get over her. I don't want to stop talking to her, but I want to get over her. Help?

Hi I am going through something similar, been with my fiancee for 8 years, we honestly have seen each other for every day for 8 years (a mistake in itself) what comes next is hard, but you need to ask yourself - if you cannot function on your own, how can you start speaking to her again or get over her. You need to focus on you. Again i know the thought that come into your head like, like, i really do not care about me, im too hurt I just want to sit here, but trust me, if you sit at home doing nothing your just have your thoughts in your head, or if you are playing sports, going to the gym, hanging with friends and going out you will get a welcome distraction and will be able to gain your own identity. You need to be able to functioning on your own and not exactly happy, but able to get to sleep at night within the first hour without lying awake a night staring at the walls. Only then, we you yourself are better, will you be able to get over her or talk to her. Either way, good luck, its a hard road, but honestly, time is an amazing healer.
