I am depressed

Hello .. I loved a guy who is not from my country .. we are from totally different countries , religions and cultures. Actually , I am from middle east and he is a Chinese guy . I didn't want to fall in love with him because I know we can't be together as my family won't allow . But, after sometime , he confessed about his love and I found myself falling in love with him .. I couldn't resist .. so we loved each other .. we didn't have the kind of close relationship .. it was pure love .. he promised me to convince my family to marry me after I finish my university .. he was very nice to me .. and this lasted for 3 months . After that he had to travel to another country for work .. and he said we have to leave each other because he doesn't want to hurt me . Now , I am lonely and depressed .. Is there any other way to make him back to me ? I don't wanna be with him anymore , but I wanna make him cry for me , that is the only thing i want for now :( if there is anyone can help me I will be thankful ..

Hi! I have honest advice for you. Take your time to be sad for your lose in love but don't turn that love into something tainted with anger. For whatever reason, and there seems to be many, you two cannot be together. Move one completely and do not look back. If you fall in love later with another person outside your country consider moving or even consider it now. But this was not the guy for you. For being sad, try to find a new hobby or turn an old one into a new version. You need to reinvent yourself after something heartbreaking happens so you can grow from it not wither.
