I think I'm a clingy girlfriend. I need advice from both men and women

My bf and I have been together for 6 months now and we spend every weekend together. he tells me that he wants to spend weekends alone because he wants time to himself. When he says that, I wonder why he doesn't want to spend time with me? Why he doesn't want me around? I know that he won't cheat on me but I just constantly want to be with him. I told him that when he does have a weekend to himself I would appreciate it if we can keep in touch through text and a couple phone calls but he says that if he is going to have a weekend to himself he doesn't want to have to worry about keeping in touch with me. I feel that he could at least do that. I told him I trust him to not cheat on me but when it comes to going out, I feel that there would be flirting. Am I wrong? Am I being overly attached and clingy? What should I do to overcome this? He keeps in touch with me during the week when we are not together but he doesn't let me know what he is doing and I would like that. I don't know why I am this way but I feel the need to know what he is doing at all times. Maybe because in my previous relationship, we lived together. When we moved out, we still managed to let each other what we were doing through out the day. My bf now is not used to being in a relationship like that. Or maybe it was just the way I was raised. Maybe it's just who I am. I'm not sure what to do or what to think and I feel that this is going to interfere with our relationship. Is it because I have major insecurities? Or are we just not right for each other? Please help and give your advice. Don't be afraid to be blunt. Once again, I trust him. I know he won't cheat on me. I believe he wants to be with me and only me because of his actions and the way he is with me. He doesn't hide anything from me.

maybe your boyfriend just need some space. you know how some people need some 'alone time' for themselves? It's like he can't always be with you 24/7, he needs sometimes with his friend, himself, etc. You have to give him space, maybe you are being paranoid because of your previous relationship. But the things that you are doing right now can effect your current relationship - like you need to know what he is doing all the time, etc (it can be a little bit too much). I think you are thinking too much, and I don't think that your boyfriend is cheating on you :) just relax and be positive :D and don't be too overly attached, it can annoy your boyfriend. xx

I agree you should not ask him everything but he does need to tell you Where he has been. For all you know he could be at a strip club with another girl or something. Also there is more to cheating then just sex. .
