its me again with an update. ex partner is making things as difficult as possible with arrangements to the house. i agreed a sum with my solicitor on the settlement but asked to retain the car. he has said that he wants 500 for the car or i have to give him it back. he bought the car 9 years ago and doesnt even drive. it was for me. i have paid all expenses for the car since it was bought. i cant afford to pay him the money as i am getting less they i am entitled anyway. he came round yesterday with his sister when i was out. she had a go t my daughterand said i had to give car keys back. they also want me out by next week now i have agrred to the settlement. havent signed anything yet. they unpacked boxes i had packed and put it all awy. i only packed my own personal belongings. they came back when i was in and he came up and asked for the keys. i gave him them as i felt intimidated. again he told me to get out by next week. he tried to get his sister to come upstairs and have a go at me. told me i hadnt to pack anything unless he there. she was talking abiut me down stairs so i could hear. told me to f--k off now i had got my f---ing money. said i would be the one with nothing and that i dont relaise how much i had lost. said he would be the winner and me the loser. also called us all scrubbers to my daughter. thing is i just sat there and took it. didnt stand up for myself and now i feel so low again after i was just beginning to think things would be ok. why did i let them do that to me? all i want is to get it sorted without them coming round when they want and intimidating me. its nothing to do with his sister or his mum. i have no family around here and i have to sort it all out myself. why do they have to be so nasty and aggressive about it.

I know where your coming from, i had the same problem. If you both signed a document stating that you would keep the car then he hasnt got a leg to stand on. State that if he wants to persue the money, he will have to take you to court, and quite frankly he hasnt got a hope in hell. He trying to intimidate you to get what he wants, otherwise he would have taken legal action. Overall you look like you have had a lucky escape from this man and his family. No one should subject your daughter to such bad language. You may need to speack to the solicitor who dealt with before and see what he says. But at worse you will move on with your daughter and forget about this petty man. Good Luck
