Boyfriend has given up hope... not sure what to do

my boyfriend and i have been living with friends on and off for about 4 years now and this time, when our friends are getting ready to move they go to him and tell him that they dont want him moving in with them and that i was fine to do so. here inlies the problem. my boyfriend now hads given up hope because he has no where else to go. his dad has someone else living in his spare room and the rest of his family doesnt give two shits about him. his words were " I must be destaind to live on the streets" have upset me cause i made a vow to him if i were to be excepted and not him i would stay with him.... im stuck here and dont know how to proceed please help!

My question is this...does he work or offer the ex-roomates anything for his stay? Maybe it's a reason why he's not able to move into the new place with them. I don't know but what I do know is that he's depressed about something. Maybe you guys should try and find a place of your own. I really don't blame you though..if he hasn't done anything wrong to anyone I would stand by his side too! I really hope this help!
