Happening too quickly?

So about a month ago I went to a bonfire/party at a friends house. While there a guy I had never met started flirting with me and we really hit it off. He asked for my number and ever since then we've been texting and talking almost everyday but we've only been able to get together five times, always with larger groups. He's talked a lot about kissing me, which we haven't done yet, and...other things. He also asked me to send him pictures but after I made it clear I wasn't comfortable with that he stopped asking. He just left for two weeks to a camp and while there they can't have their phones, so I wont be talking to him for the next two weeks. Also, there are about five girls who have known him longer than me that are "in love" with him and now hate me. We aren't officially dating but before he left he brought up the prospect of me getting a boyfriend while he was gone...basically we both agreed not to see other people. I really have no idea what to do because part of me wants to just have fun but another part of me is worried that he only wants to hook up with me. Hes hot and I know from a few trusted friends that he's kind of a flirt so I'm not really sure if I should keep this up or not. I'm also worried that he's going to come back from camp and not want to talk to me anymore. What do you think I should do?

I think you should keep talking to him and see how things go. You can't just assume he only wants you for sex. Just remember don't be pressured and do it when your ready. & if he comes back from camp and no even wanting to talk to you. Then you know how he truly is. He's a jerk.
