Friends?

So I have this pretty attractive guy friend of mine we've known eachother a few months longer then a full school year. He was in two of my classes during school and we always talked. We exchanged numbers and i was the first one to text me most of the time. But as we got to be closer as friends he would text me first. He talked of us hanging out many times but when i tried to make plans he wouldnt answer texts or say he couldnt for some reason. And speaking of not answering texts and ignoring me he does that very frequently which kinda upsets me because when we have a good conversation its wonderful. Hes so easy to talk to gives the best advice and we always have intelligent conversations. I like him a lot but lately the not answering texts and not texting me first is just a thing that goes along to talking to him. We go days without talking now and when i call him out on it he seems very apologetic and i can tell its sincere. He also posts things on social networking things sometimes that are sort of flirty to the conversation we are having at the time but of course i dont know if they are directed toward me. I want him to like me so much but im really getting sick if being ignored. What should i do??

ask him whats going on maybe he is playing games,just ask him
