Is it ok to stay in a relationship with the mother of your kids ?

Why wouldn't it be ok to stay in a relationship with the mother of your kids? What are your circumstances? Does she not want to be in a relationship with you? Is she married to someone else? If you don't enlighten people on your issue then I don't feel as though anyone is going to be able to help you out here.
